Summer Camp in Beijing-Qufu 2011
This year Confucius institut will build a creative summer camp in China. Come with us! Discover the country with its fascinating culture and you will experience the country and people at first hand. This unique program waits for you and other young people from all over the world.
Altogether 50 young people from Austria will spend a very exciting week together in China.

Activities during the stay in Beijing/Qufu
- Viewing the Chinese cultural sights
- Visiting the Opera School of Beijing, handcrafts workshop etc.
- Shaolin, acrobatics, Chinese Cuisine etc.
- Interesting Chinese talents-courses
Costs
Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) provides the campers during their two weeks in China with the costs including accommodation, Food and beverage charges, course fees, accident insurance.
The campers pay for their international travel expenses. The federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture(BMUKK) will pay each participant €100 as travel allowance

Summer Camp in Beijing-Qufu 2011
This year’s Confucius Institute summer camp, was held from July 11 to 22 in the cities of Beijing and Qufu. This annual event is jointly organized by Hanban, Beijing Foreign Studies University, the Confucius Institute at the University of Vienna and the Confucius Research Institute of the People’s Republic of China and gives high school students ages 14 to 19 the opportunity to spend a summer in China and to discover the country’s age-old language and culture.
