There are the children between 7 to 12 in the pictures, participating in the “Children´s University“ Kinderuni.  Beginning from 2010, the Confucius Institute at the University of Vienna participates in the “Children´s University“ Kinderuni actively. This year, from July 9th to July 11th, the Confucius Institute hosted Chinese calligraphy and painting, Chinese games, Chinese figures, Chinese cuisine and Chinese performing five courses.

Those courses focued to convey the information that is "knowledge is fun.". Those children are only 7 to 12. Each of them is full of curiosity and interest in Chinese culture. Children could learn more about the rich Chinese culture from the program.

These three days of our „short trip to China“ passed very quickly. The Confucius Institute could raise interest and curiosity towards China. Maybe some of these children with a Chinese dream will go to China in the future, set foot on a real trip to this fascinating country!
